Dr. Matt Trusheim
Matt Trusheim received his B.S. in Applied Physics from Yale University in 2010, and his M.S. from Columbia University in 2011. Subsequently, he joined the Quantum Photonics Group at MIT under Prof. Dirk Englund, where his research culminated in a 2018 PhD thesis entitled ‘Nanoscale Engineering of Spin-Based Quantum Devices in Diamond’. He continued his work at MIT under the Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Fellowship, and joined the Narang group at Harvard in 2019. Matt’s research interests include quantum optics and photonics, quantum sensing employing solid-state spin systems, and the development of novel quantum emitters for applications in quantum networking and information processing.
