Isaac graduated from the University of Waterloo, receiving a B.A.Sc. in Nanotechnology Engineering in 2018.
He is now a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering, co-advised with Prof. Dirk Englund at the Quantum Photonics Laboratory at MIT EECS. His research interests are in the theoretical and computational prediction, characterization and integration of solid-state defects in semiconductors for use in emerging technologies such as quantum computing and quantum communication.
Isaac works on predicting color centers in diamond from first-principles.
