Michael is currently pursuing an A.B. in Computer Science at Harvard University. He has a background in software engineering as well as algorithm development. After taking Professor Narang's undergraduate course, Engineering Quantum Mechanics, he became interested in the intersection of classical theoretical computer science and quantum computing. His research focuses on optimizing compilers for NISQ computers, and using classical algorithms to make quantum computation more reliable and efficient.
