Dr. Nakib Protik
Nakib received his PhD in Physics from Boston College in 2019. His research focuses on the various aspects of transport phenomena in condensed matter. In particular, he is interested in the coupled transport of carriers and phonons and the use of diagrammatic techniques to study interactions and derive kinetic equations. He is also broadly interested in topological defects, topological phases, and light-matter interactions in quantum materials. When not working on physics problems, Nakib listens to and plays music.
